Ophelia K. Carlton, DDS
Dr. Ophelia Carlton received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, then graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois, College of Dentistry in 1994. While she has been practicing dentistry for over two decades, Dr. Carlton continues to attend continuing education sources in all disciplines of dentistry throughout the year to stay abreast of the newest advances in the dental field. She is a member of several professional organizations, including:
- American Dental Association
- Chicago Dental Society
- Illinois State Dental Society
Dr. Carlton is committed to giving back to the community. She provides oral health care to under served communities via mobile dental units. She participates in health fair screenings, volunteers for the Greater Food Depository, and has served as a Career Day volunteer. In addition, she is a former board member of the Alumni Association at the University of Illinois, College of Dentistry. And currently serves on a board for her church. Dr. Carlton is dedicated to providing optimum dental care that is individualized to her patients’ needs by using the highest quality dental materials along with state-of-the-art technology.
When she isn’t working hard to improve your smile, she is a foodie, enjoys sports, music and travelling and spending time with family and friends.
